Diagnostic Tool

Overview

The Diagnostic Tool (DT) provides an interface for users to find and examine network monitoring data. It allows the selection of the network path for which to get information, what kind of network metric to look at and how to present the data.

Access

Access to the diagnostic tool is restricted. Authentication and authorisation is performed using X.509 certificates. Currently access is granted to anyone using a certificate issued by an EGEE truster Certification Authority (CA). The certificate should be loaded into your web browser of choice, and ideally you should install the root certificate of the UK e-Science CA, who issued the server certificate for the DT. This can be done by visiting the import certificate page of the UK CA.
